Please take note of the following announcements, and mark your calendar with the upcoming dates.
Thank You to Everyone who participated in the Blanket and Warm Clothing Drive in October. The barrel was filled to overflowing three times over the course of the month, and although it isn’t really cold yet, we all know that it is coming…probably soon. If you weren’t able to get your clothing to the church in time, don’t worry. The barrel will be left in the church entranceway for another couple of weeks.
Meet Me in Malawi on November 5th! On the first Sunday of each month at our Share and Prayer Services at 9:30 am, we are “meeting” in a different country. This Sunday, November 5th we will meet in Malawi with Hastings Nyekanyeka. Share and Prayer Services are casual, participatory, and open to people of all ages, including children. Use the parking lot side door with the “Church Office” sign, and come downstairs to the lower hall. Arrive early, grab a coffee, and “Meet me in Malawi.”
A Potluck Lunch to Welcome the Sbhatu Family will be held on Sunday, November 12th following worship. Bring a dish to share, and stay for food and fellowship with our new friends from Eritrea. (No pork, please!)

You are invited to attend a fundraising dinner to support this vital ministry on Sunday, November 19th at Luther Tower (1223 Temperance St). Reception at 5:30 pm, dinner at 6:00 pm. Come and enjoy a delicious meal, a beautiful view from the top of the tower, great musical entertainment by Jodie Giesbrecht (bluegrass gospel) and a chance to learn a little more about parish nursing.
