Camp Christopher is an important part of the ministry of St. Andrew’s, as we are active participants in this shared ministry of the Presbyterian Church (Synod of Saskatchewan) and the United Church (Riverbend Presbytery). The camp staff are getting ready for another great summer in God’s beautiful creation, learning and growing in faith, and sharing in Christian community. There are programs for children as young as Kindergarten all the way up through high school youth. There are also opportunities for older folks to get involved by joining the staff or volunteering for a day, a week, or more!
Check out the 2014 camp brochure online or pick up a paper copy at the church (beside the 20th Street entrance).

Cameras For Camp Christopher: The Camp Committee has asked St. Andrew’s to help build the camp program by providing funding to buy new digital cameras. The cameras will be used each week by the campers as they explore God’s beautiful creation and learn about photography at the same time. The Session of St. Andrew’s has agreed to encourage donations to buy cameras for this summer, and we hope that you will want to help out. The camp would like to purchase twelve digital cameras and accessories for a cost of about $100 each. Consider a donation of $25, $50 or even $100, and together let’s see if we can raise enough money to launch the camp’s photography program.
Looking For A Way To Get Up To The Lake This Summer? Camp Christopher has the answer! Come join us as part of our staff or as a volunteer during the 2014 season. We are still looking for a Program Director, male and female counsellors, a Maintenance Manager – and volunteers of all shapes and sizes! If you’re interested, please speak to Matt.
Camp Christopher Is Collecting Canadian Tire Money! Last year people donated enough CT money for us to buy a kayak (with paddles and PFD’s), and we’re hoping to beat that this year. You can find a box in the entranceway labelled Canadian Tire Money, all donations welcome!
