You won’t want to miss being at St. Andrew’s this Sunday (April 26th) because there are lots of important things happening:
It’s Camp Sunday! You’re invited to come to church as if you’re reading for camp… in other words… you don’t need to dress up! We’ll be singing some camp praise songs and hearing the experiences of some of our own Camp Christopher campers. You will also hear about some of the ways you can support our camping ministry and help it to thrive.
Following worship, there will also be an important congregational meeting with two purposes. The first is to receive a request from McKercher Drive Presbyterian Church to amalgamate with our congregation. This would include receiving their members onto our roll and their elders onto our Session.
The second purpose is to receive a proposal from our Music Committee for the purchase of a grand piano for the sanctuary. This proposal includes the use of some funds from the Memorial Fund and therefore requires congregational approval.
Plan to be at worship on Sunday, April 26th, and make a point of staying for the congregational meeting after the service.
