A committee of the Presbytery of Northern Saskatchewan has been working with a team of elders from McKercher Drive Church and St. Andrew’s Church to prepare an amalgamation plan for our congregations. McKercher Drive Church will be closing, but rather than simply close, they would like to “come together” to join St. Andrew’s. The committee hopes to present an amalgamation plan to the Presbytery in January.
On Sunday, December 6, members and adherents of St. Andrew’s are invited to stay following worship to discuss the amalgamation plan. It will be an opportunity to ask questions and to offer any comments or feedback to the committee before they present it to the Presbytery. Printed copies of the amalgamation plan will be available on Sunday, November 29th on the entranceway table at the church.
