The Session of St. Andrew’s has received and approved a number of nominations for eldership in the church, and four candidates have agreed to let their names stand for election as ruling elders.
Therefore, the Session is calling a congregational meeting on Sunday, February 22, 2009, following the regular Sunday worship service for the election of new elders. The names on the ballot will be Logan de Bruijn, Blair Lukan, Lydia Lukan, and Adela MacDonald. Short biographies of the candidates will be included in Sunday’s church bulletin, and members are encouraged to pray and discern together whether God may be calling these people to the ministry of ruling eldership among us.
