This is your official invitation to take part in the upcoming membership class at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Saskatoon.
Oh, you’re already a member? That’s okay. You’re welcome to join us for a refresher course, or just to join in the conversation as we explore questions of faith, church, discipleship, worship, and more.
If you haven’t officially become a member of the church either by transfer from another congregation or by professing your faith, then you are what we often refer to as an “adherent.” We sure are blessed to have your participation in worship, fellowship, and service at St. Andrew’s! But perhaps you would like to consider making a formal commitment to the congregation by becoming a full member.
The membership class will give you the opportunity to join with others who are thinking about their faith and how to live out their faith at St. Andrew’s. You’ll learn more about what it means to be a “Presbyterian” Christian, and you’ll have an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have. At the end of the class, you may choose to make a public profession of your faith – a commitment or a re-commitment to make your life about loving God and neighbour and following the way of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
The class is open to all youth and adults. Contact Rev. Amanda at the church to find out more or to let her know that you want to attend. We’ll be meeting in the parlour on Saturday, October 23rd and Saturday, October 30th, from 10:00 am to noon.
