Operation Sandwiches: Thank you so much to all the folks who regularly sign up to provide sandwiches for the Saskatoon Native Circle Ministry. Many hungry people are welcomed and fed because of your gifts.
The Outreach Committee would like to invite more people to get involved in this important ministry. If you can’t make sandwiches, you are most welcome to make a donation to help with the cost of sandwich ingredients. Just place your donation in the offering place, and be sure to mark it “Operation Sandwiches”.
Or, if you can’t make sandwiches at home, you can still help out by joining in a “Sandwich Making Party” in the church kitchen. Six or seven people working together can make lots of sandwiches in very little time! Our first Sandwich Making Party will be following Sunday worship on November 21st.
The Youth Group Is Selling 2011 Calendars from the Presbyterian Church in Canada. You can pick up a calendar during coffee hour after worship in the lower hall. Each one costs only $3.50 and the profit goes towards our fund for Canada Youth 2012. Note: Calendars make great Christmas presents!
