Another program year has begun at St. Andrew’s, and we hope that you will want to get involved in worship, service, fellowship, and mission through our church.
Come and worship with us any Sunday morning at 11:00 am. There are church school classes for children age 3 – grade 8, following the children’s message in worship. We also have a nursery available for little ones.
Sunday Morning Bible Study takes place from 9:30 – 10:30 am in the church parlour. Use the parking lot side door, and stop by the kitchen for a coffee before joining the group upstairs in the parlour.
Parents, grandparents, guardians, and little ones are welcome to come to the Wednesday Morning Playgroup. Drop in betwen 9:30 and 11:30 am on Wednesday mornings.
St. Andrew’s Prayer Group gathers on the 2nd and 4th Friday mornings at 11:00 am. Join us to pray together confidentially for the world, the church, and our own needs and hopes.
New voices to St. Andrew’s Choir are always welcome! Practices are on Thursday evenings at 7:15 pm to learn the anthems. Our Music Director, Gillian Lyons, also encourages you to come and help lead the hymn-singing on Sundays, even if you are not available for Thursday evening practices.
Church Membership Classes: Are you new to St. Andrew’s, new to The Presbyterian Church in Canada, or new to Christianity? Have you been attending church and trying to follow Jesus with your life, but have not yet explored church membership? Do you have questions about faith, church, or what is means to be a Christian today? Then our upcoming membership class is for you! We will meet on Sundays following worship (12:30-1:30 pm) in the church parlour starting on Sunday, October 16th until Sunday, November 13th. Please speak to Rev. Amanda if you have any questions about the classes and/or to indicate your interest in participating.
Help Saskatoon Keep Warm this Winter: The Outreach Committee and the Prayer Shawl Ministry of St. Andrew’s need your help. During the month of October we will be collecting blankets and winter clothing for donation to the Saskatoon Native Circle Ministry. We need winter jackets, sweaters, boots, socks, mitts, scarves, and toques. Donations of underwear would also be useful, but should be new and in the package. Also, we would like to receive good, used blankets, new blankets, and donations for the purchase of blankets. Your contributions may be left in the black bin in the church entranceway. Thank you!
